Usage

Cooking Guidelines

General Cooking Tips: Adjust cooking times based on your specific oven. Remember that all appliances differ; the following are guidelines only.

Stovetop - From Room Temperature:

  1. Measure 60g of uncooked rice per person and rinse thoroughly in cold water.
  2. Fill a large pot with water, and add a pinch of salt if desired. Bring the water to a boil.
  3. Add the rice and let it come to a boil again. Lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked and the water has been absorbed. Refrain from lifting the lid or stirring the rice too often.
  4. Remove from heat, drain well, and let it rest for 2-5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.

Microwave - From Room Temperature:

  1. Place 60g of uncooked rice per person in a sizeable microwave-safe container.
  2. Pour in 300ml of water, cover the container, and create a vent.
  3. Microwave at full power (750W) for 10 minutes and let it sit for 5-7 minutes until the rice is fully cooked and the water has been absorbed.
  4. Drain, fluff with a fork, and serve.

Storage

Store in a cool dark place. Once opened keep tightly closed and use within best before end date.
